Fromage of the Day, 10.25.11: Julianna. Herbal, vegetal and creamy, this herbed, bloomy rind goats milk cheese is from Capriole Farms in southern Indiana. It is denser than most other bloomy rind goat cheeses that I know like Camelia and it’s herbed. It pairs well with your favorite Sancerre, a Gaffel Kolsch, or a Bordelet Sidre. If it was an Astor Piazzolla recording, it would be Libertango, lush and biting. The Joy of Cheese November Events will be announced this week.
