Wednesday January 23rd:  Winter Wednesdays with Beer at Gastronomie 491, 491 Columbus Avenue (between 83rd and 84th)I’ll present six cheeses and Maggie Fuller of 12% Imports will present six beers to match them.  Expect rare beers like Evil Twin’s Freudian Slip, T’Gaverhopke’s Singing Blond, and the Emilisse TIPA.  The cheeses will be six of the best from the Gastronomie 491 collection.  For ticket information, visit,

I've been everything from a department manager who hired and fired and trained staffs to a weekend warrior who shows up ties on an apron the middle of a rush and talks to customers and cleans up the place.
